Dare to Care: building a caring organisation

15.09.2011 - 17.09.2011 | ganztägig | Jahrestagung

This conference is a venue for academics, PhD students and practitioners to meet and exchange their research and views on business ethics issues. General theme of this conference is the caring organisation. You can find more about the subject in the call for papers. Apart from the general call for papers there are five thematic workshops, each with their own call for papers (see 'Special tracks'). The first concentrates on business ethics education and is organised in close cooperation with the Journal of Business Ethics Education (JBEE). The second is on whistleblowing, a third one brings together the Virtue in Business and Management Interest Group, a fourth one concentrates on continental philosophy and business ethics and the last one is an invitation to a debate workshop on the difficult interaction between caring and HR. The conference will take place in Antwerp, from Thursday morning till Saturday around noon and will be preceded by a doctoral workshop. Next to the intellectual effort the conference will offer you plenty of opportunity to enjoy Belgian beers and chocolate as well as the rich cultural heritage of the fourth largest port in the world. We are looking forward to welcome you in Antwerp! Luc Van Liedekerke Centre for Ethics, University Antwerp Centre for Economics and Ethics, K.U.Leuven
